Our Management Team

Neville, with over 40 years in the Security & Fire industry, founded Central Monitoring Services (CMS) in 1989. A pioneer in the Security Industry, he grew CMS into one of Australia’s leading independent security monitoring centres, driven by his vision to offer services that instil confidence and security. Neville has been a key figure in shaping the standards of the industry nationwide. He has served as both the Director and Chairman of the Special Interests Groups for ASIAL for more than 30 years, as well as Chairman of the ASIAL National Electronic Security Group for more than 15 years. He was honoured as ASIAL’s 12th Life Member. His contributions also include six years on the Australian Standards Committee EL31 and work on sub-committees on Monitoring Centres and Alarm Transmission Systems.

Scott has been a key figure of CMS since 2003, bringing his expertise and commitment to the forefront after joining from Central’s partner company in 1998. Starting from the monitoring centre and advancing to Managing Director, Scott’s journey reflects his deep understanding of the business and his holistic approach. He oversees every facet of CMS, from monitoring and emergency response to client management, business development, and strategic planning, driving the company’s success in both new and existing markets. With a Bachelor of Business from UTS and a hands-on leadership style, Scott is an invaluable asset, consistently guiding CMS towards growth and excellence. ​

Since joining Central Monitoring Services in 1992, Suzette has risen to Customer Service Manager, ensuring CMS consistently meets and exceeds Australian standards. She secures the resources our bureaux need to deliver exceptional service and leverages strong client relationships to customise our monitoring solutions. Her leadership is vital to CMS’s success, guiding the team through challenges and driving innovation. As New South Wales Convenor for ASIAL, Suzette represents Central nationally and contributes to multiple committees. Her career highlights include developing the CMS SHLV SOS Link Device for domestic violence survivors, demonstrating her dedication to safety. Suzette’s achievements have earned her an Australian Security Medal and the title of Female Security Executive of the Year at the 2018 OSPAs.

For more than a decade, Elizabeth has been a driving force at CMS, advancing through various roles to her current position as Operations Manager. She leads the monitoring centre with a dedicated team, ensuring our 24/7 operations consistently deliver outstanding service. In addition to overseeing staff training, development, and recruitment, Elizabeth implements streamlined processes that enhance efficiency while maintaining compliance and technical support. Her forward-thinking vision has played a key role in CMS’s growth and continued industry leadership. Elizabeth’s unwavering commitment to innovation and continuous improvement ensures smooth operations and data integrity year-round.​

Central Monitoring Services (CMS) was founded by Neville Kiely, driven by his passion for security and safeguarding society, with operations beginning in Gladesville. The business was established to provide bureau wholesale monitoring services within the security industry.
1999
Central Monitoring Services (CMS) is a leading alarm monitoring centre in Australia, recognised for pioneering the migration to digital monitoring.
2015
Neville Kiely was honoured with the ASIAL Lifetime Membership Award, recognising his unwavering dedication and significant contributions to the security industry. His commitment to excellence and innovation propelled CMS to the forefront of alarm monitoring services in Australia, setting new industry standards and enhancing security nationwide.
2016
Relocated to a new premises in Kings Park, where CMS received a Grade A1 level of certification, the highest level of excellence and compliance of industry standards.
